“It had been quite a while (about 50 years…) since I had taken piano lessons – but I decided I wanted to revisit/relearn and when I read about Lani in an article about her in a golf magazine (I’m a golfer….), I contacted her. This was 8 years ago. I began lessons with her on a weekly basis and have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. She is encouraging and patient (both qualities my first piano teacher did not have!) I’ve learned a lot and have progressed at a speed that I am very comfortable with – with some gentle nudging by her.
As my grandchildren became of age to begin piano lessons, I signed them up! Currently I have 4 taking lessons with her (ages 13, 11, 10 and 7.) It’s been so wonderful to observe how Lani is able to ascertain what learning style each child does best with, and I’ve been amazed at their progress, interest and overall happiness with their lessons. I very much appreciate (as do their parents) that in a pinch we can Skype lessons when needed.“
